Sometimes making an exception is unhelpful.
Discipline and routine help us to accomplish things and become better at things we desire to be better at.
When we break those disciplines with some sort of treat, it’s often makes it harder to get back on track.
Regular celebration is encouraging. And recognising achievements essential. But for me, the idea of reward at the end is more inspiring than a treat along the way.
